When does the Elkhart County Fair start?

Friday, July 24th is the first day of the Elkhart County 4H fair, in 2026.

Dates

The fair runs from July 24th to August 1st, for the 2026 season.

The first day of the fair is a Friday, with $5 reduced admission. There will be food discounts all day, and free big wheel rides for one 1 hour starting at 12:30pm.

Saturday, July 25th would be considered the first full steam day, with vendors and rides fully set up.
